Thomas Lighting has a long and interesting history. It was founded in 1919 by Henrick Moe who sold it to Lee Thomas in 1948. In 1998, while retaining the name, they joined with the Genlyte Group, Inc. And in 2006, the group was purchased by Phillips who is a leader in lighting in the U.S. This business unit operates out of Elgin, Illinois.
Thomas Lighting provides fixtures for every room in the hour plus the home exterior. For the interior customers will find ceiling mounts, chandeliers, fans, pendants, recessed lighting and sconces in traditional, transitional and contemporary styles. Customers can choose LED, incandescent, fluorescent and halogen light sources.
